Paris in July
July in Paris
- iconic.
Photography by Rob Tennent

This year, all Australian athletes headed to the Summer Olympic Games will be accompanied by a custom July Carry On Pro. Featuring a chic textured cream finish, gold hardware, and luxuriously soft leather handles, this case has been designed exclusively for our Olympic athletes.

The design is a stylish nod to Australia’s rich sporting heritage, drawing inspiration from the 1956 Melbourne Games. At these Games, Betty Cuthbert became the "Golden Girl", Dawn Fraser made her winning debut and a young Melbournian named John Ian Wing revolutionised the closing ceremony by suggesting that athletes parade together for their final appearance, rather than march as separate teams. Donned, 'The Friendly Games', 1956 marked a proud moment in Australia's history, and we couldn't be more excited to have a partner that celebrates tradition and champions new talent.

The July Olympics campaign was shot on film by Rob Tennent at Melbourne University, a training ground for the 1956 Games.

Should travel be an Olympic sport? We think so. Meet the five members of the Australian Olympic Team we recruited to put our suitcases to the test. They pushed, pulled, threw, and raced them to see if they’re truly worthy of the Olympic world stage.
